This 6-year-old malt whisky was aged in kilderkins then moved to a larger French oak barrel and brought together with a carefully selected American single kilderkin to provide a well-balanced dram. Light on the palate with dried fruit (prune), shortbread (buttery and sweet) and hints of spice (nutmeg) aromas, followed by warm vanilla, faint clove and burnt caramel on the palate. We bottled it at 45% to bring out the best in this whisky. Ideal for sipping on its own, or perhaps with a splash of fine water.
