Specializing in hand-poured Australian soy candles, our creations are a celebration of mindful living and sensory delight. Each candle is crafted with high-quality, natural ingredients to deliver a clean burn and a lasting fragrance that transforms any space into a sanctuary.

Beyond our signature candles, Mia & Talbot is renowned for our thoughtfully curated gift hampers. We meticulously source a range of gourmet foods, premium homewares, and exquisite self-care items from local and regional makers. These hampers are more than just gifts—they are a complete experience, perfectly presented for a special occasion or to simply show you care.

Our Story

Mia & Talbot first began in 2012 as a little candle stall at the local Farmer’s Market in Ballarat (Victoria) and has grown from there.

What we enjoyed most about market life was talking to our fellow stall holders and seeing the inspiring handmade creations coming from other businesses just like ours.

We took the leap in 2022 and opened our first retail store in Sebastopol and have now moved to the Bridge Mall, Ballarat Central. We have a team of hard working staff who pride themselves on their ‘old fashioned’ friendly customer service. 

We love to support local businesses like ours and know that our sales are helping our local economy. We love that we know many of our stockists, suppliers and customers on a first name basis. We love to hear about your day and meet new faces who pop by and become regular customers.

What We Do

In addition to our range of candles & home fragrance products we work with local businesses in Ballarat & Regional Victoria to create gifts for every occasion.

We connect with local artists and makers to create custom products, from labels to printing & engraving.

We can create unique products for your business, whether you would like your own candle range or corporate gift hampers.

We also run Candle Making workshops at various locations. We can even come to you!
