In 1931, Koch & Co was founded by Henry E. Koch, a German-born immigrant with a passion for trading and selling to florists. 

After Mr. Koch's passing, Karl Papas and his brother Fonda Papas purchased the business from the Koch family in 1996. Since then, the Papas family has searched the world for and developed products for the florist and professional designer market. The product ranges have expanded into other markets, such as weddings and events, candles, garden decor, soft toys, artificial flowers, ribbons, hamper packaging, and more.

Today, the Koch & Co brand is recognised throughout Australia for its wide selection of high-quality, affordable products and industry leading customer service.
