We are based in Ballarat, Victoria. We manufacture candles & home fragrance products that feature vibrant labels designed by local artists. We pair these products with a curated selection of Australian made products, to create gift hampers for all occasions. We ship Hampers Australia wide, with local Ballarat Hamper Delivery Monday – Saturday.
Sometimes you want to send someone a gift to say ‘Thank you’, ‘Happy Birthday’ or ‘Thinking of you’ but need an alternative to sending flowers…and that’s where we step in. We lovingly pack your gift hamper, print your personalised message and deliver your gift straight to their door.
We choose to support local and be mindful of our environmental impact in everything we do.
We are hoping to make a positive change to the way people think about buying gifts and would love for you come on this journey with us.

Our Story
Mia & Talbot first began in 2012 as a little candle stall at the local Farmer’s Market in Ballarat (Victoria) and has grown from there.
What we enjoyed most about market life was talking to our fellow stall holders and seeing the inspiring handmade creations coming from other businesses just like ours.
Gradually we started to switch out our products at home, instead of buying all of our groceries from the supermarket, we bought from local farmers. Instead of buying birthday gifts from chain stores, we purchased thoughtfully from small businesses.
We are a husband and wife team with 2 children who will always be our first priority, but Mia & Talbot is our third baby. We took the leap in 2022 and opened our first retail store in Sebastopol. We now have a team of hard working staff who pride themselves on their ‘old fashioned’ friendly customer service.
We love to support local businesses like ours and know that our sales are helping our local economy. We love that we know many of our stockists, suppliers and customers on a first name basis. We love to hear about your day and meet new faces who pop by and become regular customers.

We connect with local artists and makers to create custom products, from labels to printing & engraving.
We can create unique products for your business, whether you would like your own candle range or corporate gift hampers.
We also run Candle Making workshops at various locations. We can even come to you!
Gin Inspired Candles
Gin Inspired Candles is a collaboration with local gin distillery ‘Kilderkin Distillery’.
Recycling the botanicals used in their Gin blends to create ‘Gin Inspired Candles’ (Sold exclusively through Kilderkin Distillery).

Bath soaks purchased locally and labelled in house. Soap made locally by Leaf & Petal Soap, including a custom Mother’s Day Label made at our request.

We curate products to create fun themed hampers that everyone can enjoy.
Custom Candles
Along with our Signature range of candles we offer a range of gift labels.
We also white label our candles for businesses wanting to design their own range. Or allow us to design a custom range for you and create a finished ready-for-sale product.
